Iron Piece

Found by a student at the Studio School who was walking the Gihon, which is very low. Very heavy piece of iron with insignia. It was found near the area below falls at the Power House bridge. There was a foundry there at one time in the early to mid 1800s owned and run by Thomas Perkins. When it burned, Hanford Brothers built and ran a business manufacturing butter boxes and other wooden wares.
